- Offer a general leadership or career workshop to all students and put in a plug for joining Florida Collegiate DECA and Collegiate DECA.
- Send letters or e-mails to incoming students who have declared certain majors.
- Bring successful alumni from an area chapter to a chapter meeting to speak of their involvement in Florida Collegiate DECA and Collegiate DECA.
- Promote the organization as a means of getting a job, making money, and having fun!
- Develop an employment program that provides internships for members.
